How the heck is it refreshing? Makes no sense. Yuhi literally lost the first duel ever in this series, Yudias lost the previous duel, and Yuga lost like half of his duels back in SEVENS. Since 2020, our MCs are losing left and right.

Losing was supposed to be emotional and the beginning of personal growth in past series (DM, GX, 5D's, Zexal and Arc-v) here it's just shown as an extremely repetitive joke, MCs are not supposed to lose this often. You lose, there are no stakes here whatsoever so you can just duel again another time and win. Pretty lame and weak.

I frankly don't understand how anyone can watch this trash and still be excited for the next episode. I'm only watching these episodes because I heard that Equip Spells are finally introduced to Rush (and because this show has such a weak plot, I have no problems understanding what's happening without watching most of the episodes) and I'm gonna stop watching now until I hear there is a new mechanic coming and I'm only imagining that this is what many people do for such a show with no narrative substance and only marketing purpose to it.

Yeah I totally agree with your second paragraph. Beating a Yugioh protagonist in a serious duel was an accomplishment. But now it’s nothing, And now anyone could beat the MC. And it won’t mean anything. It’s no big deal. It’s all thanks to Studio Bridge

And of course they HAD to reuse the berserk gig. But I guess this one is more acceptable as It seems more serious (for now at least) and is used for a villain rather than the heroine of the show.

Also Is It just me or did they make Yuuamu a bit too full of herself and out of character in these recent episodes. It can still be fine If She got some development out of it but right now It is lame and ruins her character a lot

Still seems too out of character with her persona to me. Honestly It feels like they wanted to create a problem for her character that previously did not exist so they can solve it after this to make it seem they developed her

I liked the episode as a whole (without Yuna) and the duel was decent but yeah it was kinda weird. Yuamu is usually the calculated type and not one to celebrate early. At the very least she should've been the one to remind Yuhi not to get full of himself until they've won.

This stupid "fangirling" is so annoying, 2-3 times over the course of an episode is fine, but not 20 times.
I wonder if there will be some meaningful story, motivation, connection behind Rovian, the manager, the duel disk and the treasure... or if everything is going to be a stupid joke in the end.
The more comedic approach worked for Sevens as the whole atmosphere was more lighthearted in general but for Go Rush, which often tries to be serious, it's just hurting its credibility.

How lucky to go first and open the card that only works on turn 1 when every player has a full hand.

It can also work as disruption if maximum summon is still around or for cards that the opponent left in hand because they couldn't play them. I just started binging the series today and it looks like power creep is already setting in with equip spells being that strong.
